This policy covers winshiplabs.com. "winship labs," "we," and "us" means winship labs LLC, based in Portland, Oregon. Questions or requests: ryan@winshiplabs.com.
What we collect
What you give us.
- Contact form: your name, work email, company, the services you picked, your budget range, and your message.
- AI readiness audit: your answers, your score, and the email address where you want your report sent.
- ROI calculator: the numbers you enter and the email address for your report.
- Demo phone line: your phone number, a recording of the call, and a transcript. The assistant tells you at the start of the call that it is recorded.
- Booking a call: the details you enter in our scheduler, such as your name, email, and any notes.
What we collect automatically.
- Usage data: pages visited, time on page, device and browser type, approximate location, and the page or campaign link that brought you here.
- Lead source: when you submit a form, we store how you first arrived (the referring site and any campaign tags in the link) with your submission, so we know which channels bring in real conversations.
- Company identification: a visitor-identification service uses your IP address to tell us which company or organization a visit likely came from. It identifies organizations, not individuals, but we may connect it to you if you also contact us.
How we use it
- To reply to you, send the report you asked for, and schedule calls.
- To run and improve the site, and to understand which pages and channels work.
- To keep a record of inquiries in our lead database and CRM so nothing gets lost.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
We send marketing email only if you ask for it, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who processes it for us
We use service providers to run the site and the business. Each handles data only to provide its service to us. They fall into these categories:
- Website hosting and performance monitoring
- Website analytics
- Visitor company identification
- Domain, DNS, and bot protection for our forms
- Lead database and CRM
- Email delivery and business email
- Scheduling
- Phone line, call recording, and transcription
We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, and to a successor if the business changes hands.
Tracking across sites and Do Not Track
Our analytics and company-identification providers may collect information about your visits here and on other websites over time. You can limit this by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser. Our site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries and leads: kept while we are in contact, and for as long as there is a reasonable chance of working together. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
- Submissions flagged as spam: deleted within 30 days.
- Call recordings and transcripts: kept by our phone provider and deleted on request.
- Analytics data: kept according to each provider's retention settings.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also opt out of marketing email at any time. Email ryan@winshiplabs.com. We will answer within 30 days, and deletion covers our database, CRM, email, and phone provider. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Security
We limit access to the people and providers who need it, use encrypted connections, and keep production credentials out of test environments. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee it.
Children
This site is for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top.
