On a mission to simplify AI adoption.
Most companies do not need more AI theory. They need better workflows, clearer adoption, and systems their people will actually use.

Who's behind winship labs
winship labs is one person: Ryan Mark, a Portland-based operator who has spent his career at the intersection of marketing, ecommerce, and AI adoption. Today he does two things: fractional head of AI for companies too big to wing it and too small to justify the full-time hire, and AI team enablement, the training and workshops that make adoption stick.
The 30/70 rule came from watching the same failure repeat: tools that worked in the demo and died in the rollout. The technology was never the problem. So every engagement here puts 30% of the effort into the technology and process, and 70% into the people. Each one runs the same way: build the system with your team, hand it over, stay only while it keeps compounding.
The AI agency built for you.
We built this agency to help businesses avoid AI overwhelm. We listen first, recommend only what works, and build systems you'll actually use, without the hype or complexity.

winship labs is a fractional AI leadership practice in Portland, Oregon. Companies that get serious about AI usually see two options: hire a full-time executive, or hand it to an agency and pay every step of the way. We're the third way: one senior operator who runs your AI function (audit, workshops, sprints, fractional head of AI) and trains your team until adoption sticks. We build the systems with your team and hand them over.
Our Sprint model is built around six weeks. The goal is to identify one high-value workflow, install the system, train the team, and measure what changed.
No. We focus on practical tools and workflows your team can actually use. If the best solution is no-code, we use no-code. If a technical build is needed, we keep it scoped.
Every engagement starts with a paid diagnostic or workshop. Sprint and fractional pricing depend on the workflow, and we share them on a short discovery call once we understand it.
You get documentation, training, and a clear next-step plan. Some clients continue into ongoing advisory, governance, and rollout support.
No. We are tool-agnostic. We work with the tools that fit your stack, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Airtable, Make, Zapier, and other workflow tools.
